Whether you are a competitive runner, or just wanting to enjoy a fun walk with family and friends, you'll have until 10am to complete either the 5km or 10km race.

Dust off those running shoes!

Sign up for the casual 5km course - minimum age is 7 years old.

Or for the more competitive runners, the 10km course that loops the race course twice is the one for you - you'll need to be 12 years or above on race day.

Walkers and prams are welcome to participate over either distance.

The course

Our gradual 5km and 10km incline course(PDF, 2MB) weaves around the Western Sydney University and TAFE NSW Campbelltown campuses, with scenic views of the city and surrounding hills.

Online and in-person registrations have now closed. Late entry is available on the day at the event.

Payment accepted: via Eftpos only - No cash payments will be accepted on the day

  • No team registrations will be permitted on the day
  • Don't forget each person who enters automatically goes into the barrel draw to win some cool prizes and you'll get a FREE participants t-shirt when you collect your race bib

Registering as a TEAM

Enter yourself and create your team name then notify other members.

As other team members register online, they can search the team name from the drop down menu, select the team you wish to join, and proceed with registration as normal.

Teams:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 team members, and online registration only
  • Can comprise of both males and females
  • School team participants must be from the same Primary or High School to be eligible to race together as a team
  • Teachers and parents can't be part of a school team, however you can enter as an 'Open Team'.

  • Monday to Friday from 6am - 9pm
  • Saturday from 7.30am - 3pm

Campbelltown Civic Centre - Customer Service located on ground floor, Cnr Broughton and Queen St, Campbelltown

Boost Juice Campbelltown Mall are offering a one-off promotion for all registered race participants who purchase an original sized drink in the Campbelltown Mall store only on Sunday 12 November be given a half price discount.

Just present your race bib in store on the Sunday ONLY following the race to the friendly staff at Boost Juice Campbelltown Mall to receive your drink at half price.

Getting ready to race

What to bring?

Strollers

Strollers/Pram walkers are welcome to participate.

Baggage

Free secure baggage minding will be provided next to the registration area.

Water stations

Please bring your own water bottle with you. On course and finish line water stations are available.

Refreshments

Food and drinks will be available to purchase on the day from our food and beverage vendors.

Child minding

There will be no child minding available on the day. Kids are welcome to spectate with accompanying supervision.

And remember to be sun safe and bring your hat and sunscreen.

Transport and Parking

How to get to the event

By car – the race is located in Campbelltown 1km east of the M5, and starts in front of the School of Medicine Building, at the Western Sydney University Campus.

By train – Macarthur railway station is only five minutes from the Fun Run registration area.

Where to park at the venue

Car parking is available in the University grounds via Narellan Rd. No traffic will be allowed to exit the University grounds until all competitors have completed the course at 10am.

  • If you need to exit before 10am, you may want to park on the other side of Macarthur train station and walk across to the University.
  • Parking is free of charge between 6am - 1pm as UWS will be waiving its fee.
  • Accessible parking spaces are limited and will be available upon request.
  • Please note the parking along Goldsmith Avenue is now permanently closed due to construction works being undertaken by Landcom in Macarthur Gardens. The nearest main carpark (P3) will be available for parking which is located further along Goldsmith Avenue.

     

Race bibs pickup

Bring your E-Ticket and a valid identity card to collect your race bib and FREE t-shirt on:

  • Saturday 11 November between 11am to 1pm
  • Or Sunday 12 November (Race day) between 6:30 to 7:45am.

Your race bib has:

  • Timing chips are attached which are used to record your time
  • The race bib must be securely tied to the front of your race t-shirt/singlet attire
  • Don't forget your race bib on the day, as there is a charge for replacement bibs.

Join us at the race muster area

  • Enter Western Sydney University Campus in front of the School of Medicine Building, off Goldsmith and David Pilgrim Avenue, Campbelltown
  • Listen out for the announcement to head to the start line
  • The race starts at 8am
  • Walkers are welcome to participate in either event, but there is a cut off time of two hours, as the course needs to be completed by 10am.

Need to pick up your race bib?

  • Follow the signs to the race bib collection area, where you'll need your E-Ticket and a valid identity card to collect your bib number.

Just decided to race on the day

  • Head on over to the registration table, to complete a late entry form
  • Late entries on the day are $53 for adults, and $41 for children accepted via Eftpos only no cash 
  • You'll then be issued with your race bib and FREE t-shirt.

Wet weather

  • If there is heavy rain on or close to the race day - we'll send you a text message and posts on social media and update our event page if the race is postponed or cancelled.
  • If the event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

Medifast First Aiders

  • Will be on course and if you need any assistance please do not hesitate to ask for help.

COVID Safety

Please remain vigilant and still adhere to the COVID safe rules and if you are feeling unwell please stay home.

If you are feeling unwell and unable to attend the race, please advise the event organiser via email events@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au as soon as you can.


Race results from 10am

Listen out for the announcement as medals and prizes are presented in the courtyard for age and team category winners.

Download your certificates

All entrants who complete the event can download your finisher's certificate from the Official Results Website by typing in your race bib number or full name.

Race results online

Following the race at approx. 10am, participants can view your Race results on The Timing Guys website.

Age category - line honours and prizes

Medals, trophies and prizes are awarded to the outright 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female placegetters for both distances, and in each age category who are the first across the line.

Outright winners and placegetters are not eligible for an age category trophy.

5km line honours

  • 1st male and female - $75 each
  • 2nd male and female - $50 each
  • 3rd male and female - $30 each

10km line honours

  • 1st male and female - $100 each
  • 2nd male and female - $75 each
  • 3rd male and female - $50 each

Barrel draw prizes - around 9:40am

All race entrants will automatically be entered into the barrel draw, for some cool prizes donated by our race sponsors.

At approximately 9:40am, we'll draw barrel prizes and make announcements for where you can come and collect your prize. If you have already left the event, we'll contact you within two weeks via phone or email to make arrangements to collect your prize.
