Find your next furry friend at our Animal Care Facility’s open day

Published on 03 March 2023

Residents are invited to meet the dogs and cats at the Campbelltown Animal Care Facility during a community open day on Saturday 11 March.

From 10am to 2pm, people can join a guided tour of the facility, meet the animals and learn about the adoption process.

There will be a range of free giveaways alongside stalls from pet suppliers and animal organisations on the day.

“Welcoming a new pet into your home is always a big decision so this is a great opportunity for people to meet the animals and speak to our team about the adoption process,” Mayor George Greiss said.

“All the animals from our facility come microchipped, health checked and registered so adopting from Council is always a great option,” Cr Greiss said.

Numbers are limited for the guided tours so people are encouraged to book ahead of time.
