Further facilities will open up over the coming weeks.

“We look forward to welcoming back our full range of programs in the future as we move back toward normality,” Cr Brticevic said.

Sports Hall bookings will also be available at Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Centre from 11 October.

In line with the current public health order, all members of the public aged 16 and over will need to be fully vaccinated to enter the leisure facilities.

Masks will be mandatory for staff and members of the public visiting the facilities and a COVID screening officer will be located at the entry point of the facility.
