Are outside school care and child care centres open?

Under the advice of government agencies, all of our Long Day Care centres and Outside School Hours Care centres remain open at this time.

We recognise the importance of childcare services on the welfare of families and have taken extra precautions to ensure as little disruption as possible. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting of our facilities, implemented strict hand washing protocols and installed additional sanitiser points.

All decisions about the operations of our facilities are based on the most current advice of state agencies, including NSW Health and the Department of Education.

What if my child is sick?

Keep sick children home.

Get tested if you have any symptoms, you can search for your nearest COVID-19 testing centre on the NSW Government website.

What happens if my service closes?

We will immediately contact all families if a centre is closed for any amount of time. Refunds would be made available to families during these times.

Are refunds available for non-attendance?

It remains standard procedure to charge for care when a child is not able to attend. Each child can have up to 42 days absent under our current policy and still maintain those permanent days.

If you need to self-isolate to adhere to the government’s protocols, then provisions do apply. Please speak to the staff at your centre for details.
