Baby Immunisation Clinics
Helping to prevent epidemics of infectious diseases.
We are committed to increasing the level of immunity to vaccine-preventable infectious diseases among infants and children in the Macarthur community.
Council operates two, immunisation clinics per month.
These “no appointment” clinics provide vaccinations free of charge for children aged six weeks to four years in accordance with the National Immunisation Program.
Vaccinations are due when a child reaches six weeks, four months, six months, 12 months, 18 months and four years of age.
When completed, the course of vaccinations will immunise a child against Rotavirus, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b disease, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal disease, Chickenpox and Meningococcal ACWY disease.
