My Aged Care
Since July 2015 people over 65 years enquiring about new services must lodge their call through the My Aged Care website or call 1800 200 422.
You can contact the My Aged Care contact centre between 8am and 8pm on weekdays and between 10am and 2pm on Saturdays.
The My Aged Care website has been established by the Australian Government to help you navigate the changes to the aged care system. Through the My Aged Care website and a contact centre, together they can provide you with information on aged care for yourself, a family member, friend or someone you’re caring for.
When people contact My Aged Care they will be referred to Regional Assessment Services (RAS) who conduct holistic in home face-to-face assessments with older people. The RAS Assessors assist to establish goals and make appropriate referrals for clients.
