Nappy and Sanitary Rebate

Campbelltown City Council is offering residents a 50% rebate on their purchases of reusable nappies and sanitary products, up to $100, to support more sustainable living. 


Why are we offering this rebate?

Disposable nappies and personal care products make up over 10% of the weight in Campbelltown’s red-lidded general waste bins. This rebate is designed to encourage residents to try reusable alternatives—helping to cut down on waste to landfill and deliver long-term savings for households.


What products are eligible?

You can claim the rebate on a wide range of reusable items, including:

Reusable nappies and toilet training products

  • fitted nappies, all in one and all in two nappies
  • Reusable night nappies
  • Reusable swim nappies
  • Terry towelling/pre-fold nappies
  • Toilet training pants
  • Reusable wipes or liners
  • Reusable bed pads and nappy wet bags

Reusable period products

  • Reusable pads and period underwear
  • Menstrual cups

Reusable incontinence products

  • Reusable incontinence pads and underwear
  • Reusable chair and bed pads

Other reusable personal care products

  • Booster pads (for nappies, period or incontinence)
  • Reusable makeup wipes
  • Reusable breastfeeding pads
  • Maternity bras with inbuilt breastfeeding pads

Terms and conditions

  • Open to Campbelltown City Council residents only
  • 50% rebate on eligible products, up to a maximum of $100
  • Valid for purchases made after 1 June 2024
  • One rebate per household per calendar year
  • Purchases must be from a company with an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Multiple eligible purchases can be claimed with valid proof within the rebate period
  • Council may request additional information and can decline applications that don't meet the criteria
  • Payments will be made within 15 business days of approval
  • Rebate available until Council funding is exhausted

What do I need to provide?

Proof of residency

  • A 2024/2025 Campbelltown City Council rates notice; or 
  • A valid driver’s licence / NSW photo card showing a Campbelltown address.

(No other forms of ID will be accepted)

Proof of purchase

  • Receipts showing the company name and ABN, date of purchase, and itemised list of purchases
  • Clear photos of receipts are accepted, but must show the receipt in its entirety
  • For online orders, provide the purchase confirmation email – your name and delivery address must match your proof of residency
