Comic Drawing Competition

1. Competition will be open from Tuesday 7 April to Sunday 26 April.

2. All entries to be submitted as portrait on A4 paper size and the drawings may be colour or black and white.

3. Your drawing must be hand drawn and a full body - head to toe. Artificial Intelligence (AI) or digital art will not qualify for judging.

 4. The comic character must be your own original character. Any fan art or existing characters will not qualify for judging.

5. Each entrant may enter a maximum of one (1) drawing in the competition.

6. Please include your name, age and contact number at the back of your entry so that we can contact you if you’re our lucky winner.

7. Entries will be judged by comic artist, Matthew Lin.

8. Winners will be announced by Thursday 30 April. All entries will be on display at Campbelltown Library until Wednesday 13 May. Entries will also be displayed electronically at all four of our branch libraries.

• Entries for the Comic Drawing Competition will be accepted from Tuesday 7 April to Sunday 26 April.
• Entries are open for ages 5 years and up.
• Entries submitted will be judged in their relevant age category. The age categories are: 5 – 8 years, 9 - 12 years, 13 – 17 years, 18 years and over.
• Each entrant may enter a maximum of one (1) drawing in the competition, any additional drawings submitted will not be considered for judging.
• Entries can be submitted to any of our four branch libraries, including Campbelltown Library, Eagle Vale Library, Ingleburn Library and Glenquarie Library during opening hours.
• All entrants are required to provide their name, contact number and age for contact if they are a winner.
• Campbelltown Libraries reserves the right to refuse entries considered incomplete or inappropriate for public display.
• To be eligible for a prize, entries must meet the criteria as outlined in the Competition Rules.
• All entries will be judged by comic artist Matthew Lin.
• There will be one (1) First Place winner, one (1) Second Place winner and one (1) Third Place winner from each age category.
• First Place winners will receive a $100 gift voucher, Second Place winners will receive a $50 gift voucher and Third Place winners will receive a $30 gift voucher.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding judging outcomes or results.
• Participants, family members or representatives must not approach or contact the judge regarding the competition or judging outcomes. Any attempt to influence or discuss judging decisions may result in disqualification of the entry.
• Winners will be notified by phone by Thursday 30 April 2026.
• Winners must be able to attend Campbelltown Library in person to pick up their prize.
• If any prizes remain unclaimed by Sunday 31 May, Campbelltown Libraries reserves the right to select an alternate winner by Wednesday 3 June.
• The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash.
• All entries will be on display at Campbelltown Library until Wednesday 13 May. Entries will also be displayed electronically at all four of our branch libraries.
• Campbelltown Libraries may reproduce entries for promotional or reporting purposes, including online and social media promotion.
• Entries on display will be available for pick up from Thursday 14 May. Entries not collected after a three (3) month period may be disposed of.
• All personal information gathered by the competition organisers will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Comic Drawing Competition.
• Campbelltown Libraries are not liable for any loss or damage, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
