Knotty Conversations 2026

Campbelltown City Council and Anglicare are joining forces to transform Mawson Park with knitted, crocheted, and other needle-crafted creations as part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month this May.

Join us for Knotty Conversations at Campbelltown Library every Wednesday evening, where we’ll craft together and raise awareness of this important community issue. Your handmade pieces will be used to wrap trees, park benches and other features throughout Mawson Park during May.

Yarn, tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own tools, patterns and anything else you need to create your squares or designs. Feel free to drop in and out whenever it suits you.

Can’t make it on Wednesday nights? You’re still welcome to take part! Create your pieces in your own time and arrange a drop-off by contacting us at: community.life@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au
