Meet Miracle,

If you’re looking for a happy, playful dog to keep up with your lifestyle, Miracle might just be your perfect match. He’s a bright and bubbly boy who thrives on fun, affection, and being part of whatever you’re doing — whether that’s a weekend adventure, a morning walk, or just hanging out at home.

Miracle has a confident, outgoing personality and loves meeting new people. He’s social, affectionate, and full of positive energy. He’s also got a sensitive side, making him beautifully in tune with the people around him.

Whether you’re a first-time dog owner or a seasoned pro, Miracle is easy to love and easy to live with. He’s adaptable, eager to please, and fits right in with families, singles, or households of any kind. All he’s looking for is someone to share his big heart, playful spirit, and endless enthusiasm with.

Ideal Home: Miracle is suitable to live in a standalone home or on a farm/acerage, with a medium to large yard & high, secure fencing.

Family: Miracle is open to meet kids from 8 years & up - he's playful boy who loves to interact & he may accidently knock smaller kids over.

Miracle is fine to live with people who work full-time and is also fine to spend time in the yard on his own without any issues, however, he would like the opportunity to be inside on occasion so that he can feel like part of the family.

Furry Friends: Miracle is dog selective. During his dog assessment he was eager to interact and play with the other dog (female) but then was a little stand off-ish with the other dog (male). With the female dog he was initially quite focused on her but relaxed and played, offered her a play bow, picked up a toy & had a good time! He may prefer the company of female dogs over male dogs.

As we cannot test in the environment, we are not sure how Miracle would go living with cats/pocket pets. This would be up to the discretion of his new owners.

Training & Development: Miracle would benefit from post-adoption training such as training at home to cover basic commands/obedience. Miracle does get excited when he first meets you & he will jump on you to show his excitement - we are working with him on this, though.

Miracle is still learning his name, but he knows commands such as: sit. He is food motivated too and is known to be gentle when taking treats from you - so having treats on you during training to mark good behaviour would be an excellent idea.

We always recommend post-adoption training whether it be at home or with a professional. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long & is a great way for you to bond with your new pal.

Play: Miracle has mid-range energy needs & would benefit from exercise or walks from 30-60mins a day to keep him happy. Diesel loves his toys - he likes chew toys, rope toys, balls, rubber toys and soft toys!

Miracle walks well on a lead but he can pull sometimes. He is best to be walked on a martingale.

Staff Comments:
Miracle is a playful & fun dog. All he knows is having fun! If you're having a bad day then Miracle is the cure. He's got a lot of love to give and we think that he'd make any house a home just by being there.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
