Campbelltown Community Grants

We are committed to building strong and resilient communities within the Campbelltown Local Government Area (LGA) and to maximising social wellbeing for all residents. Campbelltown Community Grants strengthen the capacity of local businesses, organisations, and groups to deliver initiatives that address identified community needs within the Campbelltown LGA.

Community Groups can apply for Campbelltown Community Grants of up to $5,000.

Grant guidelines

The Campbelltown Community Grants program aims to financially support the planning and delivery of community-led initiatives that address identified community needs in the Campbelltown LGA.

Key funding priorities include:

  • First Nations 
  • Domestic and family violence prevention
  • Community Safety
  • Social Cohesion
  • Homelessness
  • Wellbeing
  • Accessibility
  • Food Security
  • Youth isolation or disadvantage

Funding available

Campbelltown City Council's Community Grants of up to $5,000 are available.

Eligibility and selection

Organisations

  • Incorporated not-for profit or community organisations, or
  • Auspiced by an incorporated not-for profit or community organisation.
  • Organisations must be known to Council with demonstrated financial sustainability.

Projects and programs

Projects/programs eligible for grants must;

  • Exclusively serve communities within the Campbelltown Local Government Area (LGA)
  • Have no alternate funding sources available (i.e. would not proceed or expand without the grant)
  • Can commence immediately upon receiving funding and be able to spend all funds by 28 February 2026.

Selection criteria

Selection criteria which will be considered where excess applications are received:

  • Where relevant, collaborates with other groups and/ or services
  • Demonstrates how many people will benefit from the project
