Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) are now very common, as we continue to test for COVID-19.

What to do with your test after it is used?

The swab, buffer tube and the part that shows your results must be bagged before disposal:

• Either in the bag supplied with your kit, or a zip lock bag if your kit doesn't supply one
• The bagged items all go in the general waste bin with the red lid
• They cannot be recycled.

The cardboard packaging and paper instructions can be recycled:

• These packaging and paper pieces can all be placed in your yellow lid recycling bin.
