Meet Daisy,
Daisy is a sweet girl with a gentle nature and a heart full of love to give. She’s best suited to experienced owners who can provide her with a calm, quiet home where she can truly shine. Daisy can be a little shy at first, preferring to take her time to settle in, but once she feels safe, her confidence blossoms and her warm, friendly side comes out in the most beautiful way.
Daisy adores affection – and she doesn’t hold back when it comes to showing you how much she loves it. She’ll lean into your hand for more pats, nuzzle against you with the cutest little head bunts, and happily smooch into you while rolling around with delight. Her purrs of contentment and her sweet adoring looks will melt your heart and make you feel incredibly special.
She’s the kind of cat who enjoys having her own space but also loves being close by, reminding you with every cuddle and kiss just how much you mean to her. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who will shower you with love and adoration, Daisy might just be the one for you.
Daisy is open to meet kids from 8 years and up. Reason for this is that sometimes she may at times be a little shy when you first meet her and she may need her space until she builds up her confidence. Once she is confident, she is very affectionate and is fine to be picked up, carried and cuddled and adores any and all attention. She loves to be patted and touched - she enjoys cheek scratches and she will purr and head bunt in to your hand for more. She'll flirtatiously roll around in front of you, begging for your love and affection.
Daisy is not suitable to live with dogs - they scare her.
As for cats, Daisy seems interested in making friends. We encourage anyone with existing cats to do a gradual and supervised introduction over a few days to ensure that both cats have the best chance of becoming friends.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Daisy has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Daisy has low-range energy levels and is not interested in playing with toys - however a feather, ribbon or wand toy will spark her interest and she'll happily dance around her condo chasing after it but she truly prefers being near you, getting pats, cuddles and kisses.
Daisy can be fussy with her food, she really likes Leaps and Bounds wet food, and she appears to eat at night than through the day.
Staff Comments: Daisy is very sweet and she loves to roll around in her condo to show you how happy she is that you're there. She gives great smooches but may be a little shy when you first meet her - she does warm up very quickly though. She is social once she feels confident.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
