At Campbelltown Active, we deliver a unique program for schools to help their students build confidence, swimming skills, and water safety in a school group learning environment. Through engaging and structured lessons, students develop essential aquatic skills while fostering a love for the water, regardless of their skill level.

The school swimming program operates during most of Term 4, and students attend 40-minute lessons in the water once a week with an industry-qualified instructor.

Program Options

Our program is designed to provide students with the skills, techniques, and knowledge needed for safe and enjoyable swimming. We offer three program options for schools to book:

Learn to Swim

This program is dedicated to developing essential swimming skills, with a strong emphasis on water familiarisation, mastering various stroke techniques, and building overall stamina.

It is divided into three levels:

Beginner

This level focuses on water familiarisation and helping students get comfortable in the water. Students will be taught basic strokes such as freestyle and backstroke and floating techniques.

Intermediate

In this level, students focus on improving techniques for freestyle and backstroke, along with learning the basics of breaststroke. They will also work on building endurance and increasing swimming stamina.

Advanced

This level focuses on enhancing students’ stroke technique, performance, and swimming endurance. The basics of butterfly stroke will also be introduced.

The first lesson of this program will consist of a quick assessment to organise students into correct levels.

Water Safety
