Created by renowned local artist Luke Tekn, the mural is located in a prominent location on the corner of Macquarie and Oxford Roads features the elements of fire, air, earth and water, representing the balance in Ingleburn’s ongoing growth and development.

 

About the Artist - Luke Tekn

Luke Tekn is a Sydney based Artist, Mentor and Workshop Facilitator, originating from Campbelltown. 

He started out his learning as an artist at the Campbelltown Arts Centre in the early 90s and chose a career as an Automotive Mechanic for 10 years prior to working as a Youth Worker for 8 years throughout Campbelltown, South-West Sydney the St George and Sutherland Shires and the Illawarra. 

Luke Tekn has created a number of murals with young people for the communities he has worked in over the years with the inclusion of many more workshops he has developed and delivered for the youth re-engagement programs he focused his Youth Work career on.

Luke Tekn is now focusing his time and energy on his own business 'TEKN Projects' that showcases his work as a professional artist in the creation of murals, signage, graphic design, art lessons, mentoring, workshop facilitation.
