Join us for a morning bird-walk to look and listen for honeyeaters and other bush-birds as they head through the region on their autumn migration
Council in partnership with Simmos Beach Bushcare Group will be hosting an autumn bird-walk at Simmos Beach Reserve, Macquarie Fields.
Join us for a morning bird-walk looking into the amazing world of bird migration, learn about the secrets of bird navigation & to look and listen for migrating bush-birds such as honeyeaters, wattlebirds and silvereyes as they head northwards and coastwards to their warm winter homes.
Walking grade: Grade 2: Easy-Moderate.
Participants are advised to please wear long pants, sturdy shoes and seasonally appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water, and if you have them, camera and binoculars to help you get the best out of your wildlife spotting
