Join us for a winter spotlighting animals in the night tour and search for some of our unique native animals in the night!
Council in partnership with the Simmos Beach Bushcare group is hosting a winter spotlighting animals in the night tour at Simmos Beach Reserve, Macquarie Fields.
Join us to hear about the great work that is happening in the reserve and then see the bushland come to life by taking a guided night spotlighting walk along the tracks and fire trails. We will search for some of our unique animals of the night including possums, wallabies, owls, gliders and maybe even one of our resident koalas!
Walking grade: Grade 2: Easy-Moderate.
Please wear long pants, sturdy shoes and seasonally appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water, and if you have them, camera and binoculars to help you get the best out of your wildlife spotting.
Note: If you book tickets and cannot make it, please contact Council's Natural Areas Team on 4645 4194 so we can make your spot available for other participants.
If the event is fully booked out please contact us and we can place you on our waiting list.
This is a free event.
