People With Disability Access Toilets and Master Locksmith Access Key
Campbelltown City Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plans (DIAP) purpose is to promote positive attitudes to disability inclusion across the city. An action of this Plan is to provide access for local residents to purchase a Master Lock Smith Access Key (MLAK).
Local residents can now:
The MLAK enables people with disability to:
- open all accessible toilets displaying the MLAK symbol.
- have easy access to bathroom facilities, particularly after hours.
- have access to toilets for people with disability across Campbelltown, NSW and Australia.
This service is an important part of our support to promote inclusion for our Campbelltown residents with disabilities.
Who is eligible for an MLAK?
The purchase of an MLAK is restricted to people who have a disability living in the Campbelltown Local Government Area (LGA). Residents are required to attach a letter from their Doctor or Disability Service provider confirming their eligibility for the key.
Locations of Council 24/7 Accessible Toilets in Campbelltown
A Master Lock Smith Access Key (MYLAK) enables people with disability to have 24 hour, 7 days a week access to designated accessible public toilets across the Campbelltown Local Government Area. You can also search the term 'toilets near me' in Google.
The MLAK system is also fitted to elevators at railway stations, in National Parks and in adaptive playground equipment (Liberty Swing) across Australia. The location of Campbelltown Liberty Swings can be found at Koshigaya Park and Hallinan Park.
