Code Club for Beginners

Campbelltown City Library is offering a free, four week, coding program that you can complete at home.

Using Scratch, a visual programming language, participants will learn how to use code to create computer games and animations in the comfort of their own home.

Please note this is a beginner level class for ages 8 - 14 years.

How do I sign up?

Head to our What's On page to register your interest, so we can email you resources and tips and tricks to complete the coding projects.

How can I access the coding projects?

New resources and projects will be available by email and through the website.

Coding projects will be available from the following dates:

I have been emailed the coding projects. How do I get started?

To start coding, visit the Scratch website and click 'Create' to get started or 'Join Scratch' to create a free account. You can also download Scratch for free on your computer to use it offline.

I have finished a project. How can I share it with you?

We would love to see your work-in-progress or finished coding projects. Take a photo or share the link to your project and let us know what new skills you've learnt by sending us a message via our Facebook Page or email your projects to

Once we have received photos of your project we will be sharing these with other participants to show off your hard work.

I need assistance. How can I get someone to help me?

Library staff will be available for coding questions through our Facebook page, by phone, or by email on the following dates:
