Meet Capone,

An initial shy boy with a reserved nature Capone has truly had the glow up of a lifetime. Capone is an independent, friendly & smart boy. He has grown so much in confidence since he first came in to us and is now outgoing, social & playful.

Curious by nature, he loves to take in the world around him & he is very affectionate & engaging with his carers.

Capone is a cat that is suitable for first time owners or those with experience, and based on his adaptable nature & overall demeanour he is also suitable to live in any household environment too.

He is open to meet kids of any age, he is happy to be picked up & cuddled and loves his head, back & belly being patted & scratched.

Capone has previously lived with cats; in fact, he came in with Anchovy (ID: 11192). So, if introducing to an existing cat we always recommend a slow introduction.

As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Capone would go living with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of his new owners.

As mentioned before Capone was initially reserved & shy when he first came in but has blossomed into a confident, sweet & loving young man. However, moving into a new home may see him revert back to that shy cat he used to be. It's important to note this as he may need some additional time to adjust to his new surrounds.

It's also important to note this as we do not recommend he go outside, as the outside world may undo all the progress he has made. Being outside may scare him into fleeing from the property & risk losing his way back home. However, a catio or outside cat park will be a great option for him to experience outdoor living whilst also being safe and contained.

Capone has mostly low energy but will get bursts of energy for play time! His favourite toy? Anything that moves!

Capone is not fussy when it comes to food either, he will eat anything & his favourite treats are Greenies treats!

Capone is also very neat & tidy & always uses his litter tray. Overall Capone has grown into a very confident & playful boy & he loves to have a chat with you.

Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
